Our 8th grader's were invited to attend a virtual the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month! The theme of the celebration was esperanza, hope and patients. The celebration had Dr. Emma Otheguy as the keynote speaker, who is the author of several book, we were given the opportunity to have a Q & A with Dr. Otheguy about Marti's Song of Freedom, or Marti y Sus Veros por la Libertad, the book tells the story of Jose Marti. The students also learned how to do the Merengue!
